Our Capabilities & Tolerances

Can accommodate any quantity and length of cold drawn steel shafts with diameters ranging from 0.625″ to 3.00″
Process includes cut to length, machine chamfer, centerless ground, machining/turning
Carry significant stock of CD 1045 steel bar to maintain lead times of four weeks or less
- Can also obtain most grades of material, including stainless and CD4140
Shaft circumference verified through ring gauge confirmation
Standard finish is RMS of 32 with O.D. tolerance of .001″
Cut to length standard tolerance of .005″
Radius keyway is standard, widths ranging from 0.1875″ to .750″ with a corner radius of 0.005″
